Jeanette Watts

Jeanette Watts is a history buff who has been combining historical dancing, historical clothing, and storytelling into engaging immersive experiences for over 30 years. She blends humor, play, and pragmatism in both first and third person interpretations in order to teach a wide variety of eras to a wide variety of students. Besides her work for the anniversary of Lafayette’s tour of the United States in 1824 and 1825, she is currently researching dances, music, and clothing from 1776 for the upcoming semiquincentennial. Her latest historical adventures can be found on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok under the name “History is My Playground.”
