Have you ever wanted to learn the timeless dances the Flying Cloud Troupe performs in public? Now is your chance! Beginners, experienced dancers, singles, and couples are all welcome at our two 6 to 8 week sessions preceding our two balls.  The steps and dance techniques of the periods studied, from 1800-1930, will be taught.  You will learn from and alongside Flying Cloud Troupe members.

When you arrive at the Wyoming Fine Arts Center, you can park on the street or in the parking lot in back of the building.  Come in the front entrance and walk straight ahead to the ballroom.  Just outside the ballroom is a drinking fountain, and directions to the downstairs restrooms are marked.  A table will be set up in the ballroom to pay for classes, register your attendance, and get a name badge.  Coats, purses, and street shoes can be placed on the chairs encircling the room.  You may want to arrive at 7:15 for warm-up, announcements, and open dance. Change into dance shoes and at 7:30 the class will be called to make a large circle on the floor.  We begin working on the step for the evening using recorded music. We change partners frequently.  Teachers may also change from week to week.  At the end of class, there will be announcements about upcoming events.   The Flying Cloud performance troupe begins rehearsals at 8:30 pm and class members are welcome to stay and observe.

Singles and couples, beginners and experienced dancers are always welcome at Flying Cloud classes.
